A few years back when I was living in Orange County I was lucky enough to own a clean Mitsubishi Evolution 8. Back then this car was my pride and joy and to this day is still one of the most enjoyable cars I’ve personally ever driven (still waiting to drive a Ferrari).
It’s been so long that I don’t even remember what kind of camera I was using, but this is one of the first shots I ever took. I’ve always loved cars and fell in love with photography a few years back, but never had to the time or money to put into it. Now that things have changed a bit I can dedicate a little more time to taking pictures and currently shoot with a Nikon D40. This is one of the only shots I kept from way back then and with a little photoshop work it came out pretty good.
The Evo had all the basic bolt on modification along with cams, gears, upgraded fuel pump, brake lines, brake pads and a set of lowering springs. The only thing that I would have changed is substituting the springs out for a nice set of coilovers.
