Now here’s something you don’t see everyday, a custom made Ferrari powered Hydroplane from 1953 designed by Achille Castoldi who once upon a time was looking to break the speed record on water. The Ferrari Hydroplane is powered by a twin supercharged 500 horsepower 4.5 liter 12-cylinder Ferrari motor which did just the trick. Castoldi held an average of over 100mph when driver this thing making him the record holder and also a little bit crazy. The Hydroplane is set to be auctioned off at this years RM Auction in Monoco on May 11th through 12th and rumor has it that the winning bid will be somewhere between $1 to 2 million dollars.
